Intermountain Health Opens Badura Clinic in Las Vegas

Intermountain Health opened its new Badura Clinic in southwest Las Vegas on Thursday, July 30, with a ribbon cutting and community open house, the health system announced. Intermountain said the event drew its leaders and caregivers, community partners and project teams, who toured the new space. The three-story, 90,000-square-foot building at 8350 W. Badura Ave. combines primary and specialty care under one roof. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that it is Intermountain's largest clinic in Nevada. Intermountain placed the clinic in the Spring Valley area. For local owners and renters, it is a new place to get care on the southwest side.
What Opened
Intermountain Health described the Badura Clinic as its first ground-up construction project in Nevada. Las Vegas HEALS, a local healthcare industry association, also reported the opening on July 30.
According to Intermountain, services at the clinic include primary care and specialty care such as:
- Cancer care, including medical and radiation oncology
- Infusion services
- Diabetes and endocrinology
- Rheumatology
- Palliative care
Both Intermountain's release and the Review-Journal's report also list adult and senior primary care, pediatrics and women's health. Intermountain said the building houses space for Shriners Children's, which the Review-Journal reported will own and operate an independent pediatric orthopedic clinic inside the facility. The paper also reported that the clinic sits across the 215 Beltway from the site of Intermountain's planned Nevada Children's Hospital, and that Shriners plans to move later to that campus's outpatient center.
Intermountain said the cancer center includes PET and CT scanners and linear accelerators. The health system said it consolidated multiple clinics into the building, bringing together services that were previously spread across the valley, and added two new service lines there: women's health and palliative care. Intermountain said the goal of combining them in one modern location is to improve patient access and coordination between services.
From Groundbreaking to Opening
The project took about two years to build, the Review-Journal reported. According to Intermountain and the Review-Journal:
- Intermountain broke ground in June 2024.
- A topping-off ceremony was held in June 2025, according to Intermountain.
- The first specialty, pediatrics, moved into the building in April 2026, the Review-Journal reported.
- Clinical teams moved in in phases over several months before the grand opening, Intermountain said.
Intermountain bought the project site in 2021 for $12.5 million, according to Clark County records cited by the Review-Journal.
Nevada-based Martin-Harris Construction developed the building, and HDR, Inc. designed it, according to Intermountain. The health system said the design drew on the colors and patterns of nearby Red Rock Canyon.
Intermountain's Footprint in Southern Nevada
The sources gave different clinic counts. In its release, Intermountain said it serves more than 350,000 patients and operates more than 80 clinics across 65 locations in Clark and Nye counties. The Review-Journal reported that Mitchell Cloward, Intermountain's Desert Region president, mentioned around 60 clinics across the valley.
Intermountain describes itself as a not-for-profit health system. Cloward told the Review-Journal that the new clinic will allow "seamless coordination" between primary care physicians and specialists.
What This Means for Owners and Renters
For owners: The Badura Clinic is a completed, open facility, not a planned one. The Review-Journal placed it off South Durango Drive and the 215 Beltway. The sources we reviewed did not give a staffing or jobs figure for the building.
For renters: Intermountain said appointments were being scheduled at the time of the opening. The release lists primary care for adults, seniors and children, women's health, and specialty services including cancer care, infusion, diabetes and endocrinology, rheumatology and palliative care at the building.
