PENTA Building Group Opens New Henderson Headquarters

The PENTA Building Group, a commercial construction company, opened its new 55,000-square-foot headquarters in Henderson with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, May 14, KTNV reported. About 100 employees moved into the building from five offices, FOX5 reported, and President and CEO John Cannito told the station the company was hiring 10 to 15 people a month.
The New Office
FOX5 reported that PENTA bought the building and remodeled the inside, consolidating employees who had worked in five separate offices. The station described the office as bringing about 100 employees under one roof to support hundreds more working across Southern Nevada.
KTNV reported that Cannito helped cut the ribbon on Thursday and said the office would bring at least 100 jobs to Henderson. FOX5 described the same group as about 100 employees who moved in.

PENTA was also part of the construction team on the $600 million renovation of the Las Vegas Convention Center's legacy campus, a project that began in 2023 and was completed in January. The LVCVA's Jan. 5 release said a joint venture of Hunt Construction Group and the PENTA Building Group was the contractor on the project.
Cannito told FOX5 that Southern Nevada's construction market felt more stable than it had in earlier years, with fewer of the ups and downs the company experienced in the early 2000s.
Henderson Business Activity
KTNV reported that the City of Henderson issued 760 business licenses from Jan. 1 through May 7, according to city data. The station also reported that Nevada Heart and Vascular Center held a grand opening for a new clinic in Green Valley on the same day as PENTA's ribbon cutting. KTNV also reported that PENTA has been giving back to local nonprofits in the valley.
